When it comes to the understanding of God, people like to think "either, or". they believe that they can go to the water either for literal marriage to Jesus or to "get saved" thru water baptisim in Jesus name. The truth is that there is no either ,or with God. God has always had "a way" to come to Him, and not ever has He had "many ways" to come to Him. However salvation is indeed bought for us thru the blood of Jesus. Salvation isn't the focus or purpose for the shedding of the blood of Jesus. Salvation is the direct result of becoming married to Jesus which is the reason Jesus shed His blood. The same goes for the "adoption" of people into the family of God. People think they can enter into Gods family either thru literal marriage to Jesus or thru legal adoption by the blood of Jesus. As in the case of the literal marriage to Jesus there is "a single way" created by the Father to enter into His family. We enter into adoption into the family of God thru the means of literal marriage to Jesus. This isn't the avenue that I have chosen for mankind to enter into the family of God, but instead it is the legal avenue chosen by God Himself for mankind to be able to enter into adoption into the family of God. In other words it is required that you #1. be introduced to Jesus as your future literal Husband. #2. Fall in head over heals love with Jesus. #3. desire to enter into literal marriage to Jesus, Him being the God of all creation and the only true God (He never desires a shot gun wedding). #4. Fulfill your desire to become literally married to Jesus, becoming literally married to Him thru water baptisim in the name of Jesus taking onto and into yourself your Husbands name which is Jesus according to Acts2:38. The direct result is your adoption into the family of God thru literal marriage to God thru His Son Jesus, causes salvation to you and your soul, you being filled with Gods Holy Ghost at the time of the water baptisim, causeing "new birth" in you and you at that same time recieving the spirit of cosumation written of by the apostle Paul in Eph. 1:17.
