Why did Jesus suffer death on the cross? What was the purpose of His death?

Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Jesus died on the cross for one purpose as the above bible verse teaches us all. Jesus died "that you should be married to another,to Him that was raised from the dead".

Salvation,the blood being applied to our soul washing away our sins,becoming born again. All these are a direct result of getting married to Jesus.

Jesus is my Husband and I am His wife. As the perfect Husband that He is to me He adds to me as He sees fit. Notice that the above verse is directed to the "brethern". Our fleshly bodies have nothing to do with this other than it must be baptized in Jesus name and after getting married to Jesus I cause my body to walk in this marriage to Jesus.
